The Lawrence Rowe Legendary Cricket Foundation would like to personally thank you for your participation in our 2nd Annual Cricket Legends Weekend March 4-6th, 2016 at the Marriott North and Broward Regional Park. We appreciate the continuous support from our sponsors and local community, as it is a main contributing factor to the events overall success. Together this year, we delivered a well-attended dinner gala and cricket game. Thanks to your gracious support the foundation was able to raise funds to continue to support Mr. & Mrs. Rowe’s platforms and programs: The Look Good Do Good Program and Mr. Rowe’s Mission of the Heart platform that supports fellow sportsmen and woman in the Diaspora that have fallen on hard times.
The Lawrence Rowe Legendary Cricket Foundation was established in 2011 by former West Indian Cricketer Lawrence “Yagga” Rowe known to his peers as “one of the best batsman to play the sport”. The Foundation’s mission is to provide an outlet for the youth who have fallen off with their education, while also focusing on the history, culture and teaching of the sport of Cricket, thus providing an outlet for future generations in keeping the game alive. Since its creation in 2011, the Foundation has traveled throughout the Caribbean, North America and England educating the youths of tomorrow and teaching dynamics and makeup of the sport of Cricket, with your continued support, we will strive to strengthen our ongoing efforts to help those in need throughout the community and the Diaspora.
Thank you again for joining us in our mission to keep the love and awareness of the sports of Cricket through the annual Legends Cricket Weekend and service to our local communities and athletes. We appreciate your company’s support and hope you enjoyed attending the weekend of activities. We look forward to your company playing an integral role in our 3rd Annual Cricket Legends Weekend.
Sincerely, The Lawrence Rowe Legendary Cricket Foundation
